Just outside Athens in a moonlit glade, the court of Theseus tumbles into the mischievous world of the fairies and the magic antics begin. Young lovers defy authority and flee the court, only to find themselves caught in a web of illusion and magic in the Athenian woods. All the while a group of simple workmen have written a play.
