The Shakespeare Theatre will be holding Auditions for its production of Macbeth on Monday August 1st, Tuesday August 2nd and callbacks on Wednesday August 3rd between the hours of 7 P.M. - 10 P.M.

Needed for each show are at least 20 men and women ages 18 years and older. All roles are currently open. The Shakespeare Theatre practices both color-blind and gender-blind casting. ALL AUDITIONERS WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR ALL AVAILABLE ROLES.
This will be a Modern "Gothic" version of Macbeth, so people with unique looks, (i.e. Body piercings, body art, spiked or dyed hair, etc.) are encouraged to audition. We are also looking for 2 boys, one age 12-14, the other age 14-16.
No previous classical theatre experience is required. Auditioners should be prepared to a read from the script. Prepared monologues are not needed, but AUDITIONERS SHOULD FAMILIARIZE THEMSELVES WITH THE PLAY BEFORE AUDITIONS.

Auditions will be held at Phoenix Theatre Little Theatre in Rehearsal Room "B" located at:
100 E. McDowell Rd. on the northeast corner of Central Ave. and McDowell Rd. in Downtown Phoenix.
